I don’t know how house payments are measured. Is a 30 year mortgage my only option? With taxes and insurance added, I would like to pay around 0 a month. What would that make my price range so I can start looking?

We paid off a 2nd mortgageforeclosure before it went through. We continued to pay on our first mortgage with no problem. The attempted forclosure was not on our credit report until we refinanced with a new mortgage company. Is this fair? It looks suspicious that it only appeared on our credit after we refinanced with a new company. We understand that business is business but it seems that they were fine with everything until we pulled our mortgage from them and went with another company.

I was watching the infomercial about this Free and Clear home buying program where you only pay the property tax for the home and don’t have to pay the mortgage and I was wondering if that was really possible or was it just a scam.

I have a house I need to get out from under. I may foreclose on it. Or, do a deed in lieu of a foreclosure. I want to file hardship due to the loss of my brother, whose income I depended on to pay for the house. My husband just passed away on the 3rd. I am living in his house. I cannot keep two houses. Can my mortgage company come after me for any money I received as a beneficiary?

Do companies that provide mortgage leads have state (mortgage broker) licensing requirements? I’ve seen some companies such as Loanapp.com that have the disclosures in their footer other companies such as clientshop.com do not have any such disclosures. The curious thing is that Internet Brands owns both companies.
